A note for myself to start and iterate quickly

Introduction

For a long time, I was always thinking too much about how to organize my new projects in my folder structure. And a lot of times, I ended up spending more time on this than actually starting the project.

Recently, I just realized that I should use the Desktop of the mac like the actual desktop as a workspace for you to play with your ideas.

On being creative, I always think about the idea of just start and iterate. the tool for you to start creating need to be just at your finger tips. Just like the pen and paper on the desk. you don’t need to setup a whole new environment, just pick it up and start drawing. For creating code, we should also have the same experience.

Make Desktop Your Workspace

Your Desktop is the best place for you to start and iterate. and for so long, I just keeping the Desktop empty for no reason, just like a clean background wallpaper. but tracing back to the original idea of using Desktop as a workspace, it makes a lot of sense. and it’s the original reason why mac having the Desktop in the first place as the anology of the actual desk.
